Role Description The Freelance Graphic Designer will create visual assets that support Superfan.ng’s brand, product experience, and marketing campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include designing graphics for the app and social media, developing layouts for digital content, refining logos and brand elements, and producing illustrations or icons that bring African languages and culture to life. The designer will collaborate with product, content, and marketing teams to ensure visual consistency, optimize user engagement, and adapt designs for different platforms and formats. This is a full-time remote role, with flexibility to work from any location while meeting deadlines and participating in virtual team communication.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio showcasing digital designs and visual storytelling.
Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including creating or refining brand identities and visual systems.
Proficiency in Typography, with the ability to choose and apply typefaces that enhance readability and reflect brand personality.
Comfort working with design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar software, and preparing assets for web and mobile.
Ability to interpret creative briefs, work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality designs to deadlines.
Familiarity with or interest in African languages and cultures, and sensitivity in representing diverse communities.
Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration, feedback discussions, and iterative design work.
Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
