About the business area
Corporate and Institutional Banking helps some of the world’s largest companies grow and succeed by offering investment and financial solutions. Working across markets, sectors and borders, you’ll help deliver the insight, connectivity and support that enable clients to navigate change and unlock new opportunities.
For the 2027 intake, we will hire two graduates to join our Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team.
Who you are
You’re curious, analytical, motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment and tech / AI-savvy. You’ll be a strong fit if you enjoy working with numbers, spotting patterns, communicating clearly and contributing to a team. You’ll need analytical thinking, attention to detail, resilience, strong written and verbal communication, teamwork and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
You would ideally come from a financial background with a Master 2 degree, or an equivalent qualification, from a Business / Engineering school / University with a specialisation in Finance or Economics. You should have robust knowledge of corporate finance, credit analysis and financial modelling, and a first experience in investment banking, private debt, private equity, M&A, transaction services or audit, although we’ll help you build the technical knowledge.
We will value especially your potential, your judgement and how you work with others under pressure.
What you'll do
You’ll join our Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team and work alongside experienced colleagues across the globe on live and pitch-phase transactions across a variety of products, sectors and geographies. As part of the role, you’ll collaborate with multiple teams including Syndication, Rating, Sector Coverage, DCM, Legal and Risk to help deliver optimal solutions for corporates, private equity firms and financial institutions.
You'll research market conditions, analyse company performance, review financial statements, support credit analysis and help prepare client materials such as pitchbooks, investment memos and presentations, and work on live executions. You’ll also build your technical skills through financial modelling and valuation work, while learning how deals move from idea to execution. It’s real exposure to live work, with support from people who do it every day.
What you'll learn
You’ll build your investment banking foundation through regulated training where required, a global graduate induction and tailored technical development for your role. You’ll learn how deals are structured, how financial statements and valuation techniques are used in practice, and how different financing solutions support clients. Depending on location, you may also work towards industry qualifications such as AMF or FCA exams, alongside residential technical and behavioural training led by external experts. Just as importantly, you’ll strengthen your professional skills—communication, judgement, teamwork and attention to detail—in a fast-moving environment. By the end of the programme, you’ll be better equipped to navigate complex financial situations and contribute with confidence.
Where you'll work
You’ll work in Corporate and Institutional Banking's Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team, a specialist Investment Banking team focused on supporting private equity investors and corporates in structuring and distributing debt. It’s a high-performing, team-based environment where analysts and bankers work closely together and where collaboration across global offices is part of everyday life. You can expect a professional office setting, a steep learning curve and a culture that values precision, teamwork and shared delivery.
