We are looking for a passionate and experienced Android Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin/Java.
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Work with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, etc. ).
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in Android application development.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Experience working with Jetpack components, Coroutines, LiveData, and ViewModel.
Solid understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (Retrofit, Glide, Room, etc. ).
Familiarity with MVVM/MVI architecture.
Proficient understanding of Git and version control.
Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and analytics tools.
Knowledge of performance optimization and memory management.
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in publishing apps on the Play Store.
Exposure to Jetpack Compose is a plus.
Knowledge of security best practices in mobile development.
Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
