DevOps Engineer 3

Responsibilities:
Identifying technical problems and developing software solutions to enable development teams.
Identify and define solutions to ensure automated build and deployment best practices are being followed.
Evaluate solutions and help the team to arrive at build/buy/adopt OSS decisions.
Build and monitor best practices with regard to cloud infrastructure, VPCs, and supporting infrastructure.
Building and setting up new infrastructure as code.
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience.
2+ years of Python development experience.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
Experience with CI and CD pipeline setup with configuration management using open-source tools.
Extensive expertise in containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Understand industry-standard release automation tools and processes.
Someone with experience in AWS / GCP.
Strong experience of monitoring and alerting.
Strong interpersonal and teaming skills in an extremely collaborative environment.
Understand industry-standard release automation tools and processes.
Good to have:
Experienced in automating and integrating security operations into DevOps processes.
Deep understanding of securities and the complexities of best practices for SaaS products.
