DevOps Networking Engineer

Responsibilities:
Lead the design, planning, and implementation of WAF and Load Balancer technologies utilizing best practices of load balancing and client security.
Act as an SRE to troubleshoot operational problems at the network, host, and application levels.
Automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC (Infrastructure-as-code) tooling.
Build tooling to provide monitoring and alerting for key systems and provide automated and manual issue mitigation solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Mathematics or 5 years of applicable industry experience.
A familiarity with Linux or UNIX systems engineering.
Interactive and scripted bash power-user skills (bash fluency).
Familiarity with command-line tools.
Experience and fluency in one of the following programming languages: Go, C/C++, or Python.
Experience in using one of the following configuration management technologies: Salt or Ansible.
Experience in using one of the following cloud providers: Azure, Google Cloud/GCP.
Experience in using Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure as code.
An understanding of application layer protocols such as HTTP/S, DNS, and the basic networking protocols such as Ethernet, IP, and TCP/UDP.
Nice-to-Haves:
Familiarity with F5 WAF and Citrix Load Balancer solutions.
Fluency in Go and Python.
Experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
