QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business requirements.
Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Conduct API testing using Postman to validate backend services and APIs.
Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure application compatibility.
Work closely with the automation team to identify suitable areas for test automation.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test reports, and defect reports.
Provide UAT support and assist with production release validation.
Contribute to improving overall QA processes, testing standards, and product quality.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.
Strong hands-on experience in manual QA, with excellent understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including SDLC, STLC, and agile testing.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
Hands-on experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or qTest.
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Familiarity with API testing using Postman.
Understanding of mobile testing (Android and iOS) and usability testing best practices.
Familiarity with QA automation and automation testing concepts; strong automation experience is not mandatory.
Ability to identify test scenarios that can be automated and collaborate with automation teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
