Team Lead - Fund Accounting

We are seeking experienced professionals for Asset Valuations/Fund Accounting roles at CL8 (Associate Manager) and CL9 (Specialist/Team Lead) levels. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in fund accounting, NAV calculation and validation, investment operations, and asset valuation.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee fund accounting and asset valuation activities.
Perform and review NAV calculation, validation, and reporting.
Handle investment accounting and operational activities for various fund structures.
Perform valuation of investment assets and ensure accurate accounting treatment.
Review financial and operational data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure transactions, valuations, income, expenses, and corporate actions are accurately captured.
Perform reconciliation and investigate breaks across investment and accounting records.
Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
Ensure adherence to established processes, controls, and quality standards.
Support process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
At the CL9 level, lead the team, allocate work, review deliverables, mentor team members, and manage escalations.
Requirements:
Required Technical and Domain Skills: Fund Accounting, NAV Calculation and Validation, Investment Operations, Asset Valuation, Fund Administration and Investment Accounting, Reconciliation and Exception Management.
Knowledge of investment products and fund structures.
Strong understanding of financial markets and accounting principles.
Preferred Fund Experience: Private Equity Funds (first preference), Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds.
Educational Qualification: Any graduate; CA / CMA / CFA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in asset valuations, fund accounting, investment operations, or related domains.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables.
Willingness to work in US/UK shifts.
Candidates should be comfortable working 100% from the office in Bangalore.
Preferred candidates: Professionals with strong private equity fund accounting/asset valuation experience; hedge fund or mutual fund experience is also considered based on relevance.
