Responsibilities:
Design microservices architecture from scratch and service boundaries.
Define API contracts and communication patterns.
Technology stack decisions and standards.
Security architecture and compliance.
Performance and scalability planning.
Code reviews and architectural guidance.
The core requirements for the job include the following:
Technical Skills:
Backend: Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Redis.
Cloud: AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3 RDS, ElastiCache).
Integration: REST APIs, GraphQL, Kafka/SQS.
Security: JWT, OAuth, RBAC/ABAC patterns.
Monitoring: ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
Must-Have:
Proven experience designing distributed systems.
Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design.
Experience with event-driven architectures.
Good to have:
AI-assisted development experience (Cursor AI/Claude code/Copilot).
Define AI development standards and best practices.
Review AI-generated code for architectural compliance.
Establish code quality gates for AI-assisted development.
Mentor team on effective AI tool utilization.
