Program Manager

We are looking to hire a Lead - Institutional Effectiveness to strengthen execution discipline, performance tracking, and governance across our Bangalore-based institutions. This is not a traditional quality role. The focus is on ensuring that academic delivery, student experience, research output, and business processes run as planned with visibility and accountability.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Performance Tracking and MIS
Define and track weekly metrics across academics, placements, student affairs, research, and business functions.
Build structured dashboards and ensure data accuracy.
Highlight key deviations and risks.
Governance and Review Cadence:
Drive weekly review mechanisms across functions.
Maintain structured review formats and decision logs.
Ensure adherence to institutional calendars.
Action Tracking and Closure:
Capture clear action items with owners and timelines.
Follow up rigorously for closure.
Escalate delays where required.
Academic and Student Experience Discipline:
Track class delivery, attendance, course completion, and assessments.
Monitor student engagement and escalations.
Ensure adherence to academic commitments.
Business Process Visibility (Finance / Admin / Procurement):
Track budget vs actuals, vendor ageing, and payment delays.
Identify operational bottlenecks.
Ensure adherence to workflows.
Process Enforcement and Standardisation:
Ensure processes are followed across functions.
Standardise reporting formats and workflows.
Accreditation and Quality Alignment:
Track accreditation metrics (AACSB, NIRF, QS).
Ensure documentation readiness.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Work with Deans and functional heads.
Drive accountability and alignment.
Requirements:
5-10 years of experience in operations, consulting, or program management.
Strong execution and follow-through ability.
Comfortable across academics, finance, and operations.
Data-driven and detail-oriented.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management.
