Role Description The Equity Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The Equity Advisor will guide clients on equity investments, build and manage client relationships, and provide timely advice aligned with their financial goals and risk profiles. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends, reviewing research reports, recommending suitable equity products, and assisting with portfolio review and rebalancing. The role also involves explaining investment strategies in clear terms, addressing client queries, and coordinating with internal research and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Equity Advisors are expected to meet defined business targets while maintaining a customer-first approach and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Qualifications
Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to understand client needs and provide responsive, trust-based support.
Solid knowledge of investments and finance, including equity markets, basic valuation concepts, and risk-return principles.
Proven sales skills, with experience in promoting financial products and achieving business targets ethically and transparently.
Exposure to portfolio management concepts, such as asset allocation, diversification, and periodic portfolio review.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM, NSE, SEBI-related) are an advantage.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret research reports and market data.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
Comfort working with digital tools and trading platforms, and readiness to stay updated on market developments and regulatory changes.
