Infrastructure Engineer

About the Company
A leading European manufacturer is establishing its India shared-services centre and has partnered with Flexiple to hire infrastructure engineers. You will support the network and systems infrastructure connecting shared-services teams with plant and factory-floor operations. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will maintain servers, networks, and connectivity across shared-services and plant environments, keeping operations running without disruption.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Network Reliability
Maintain server and network infrastructure across the shared-services centre
Monitor uptime and performance, escalating and resolving issues quickly
Support patching, backups, and disaster-recovery processes
Plant & Shared-Services Connectivity
Support connectivity between shared-services systems and plant-floor networks
Coordinate with plant IT teams and vendors on infrastructure changes
Maintain documentation for network topology and infrastructure assets
Ideal Candidate Profile
3 to 8 years in infrastructure engineering, network administration, or IT operations
Solid grasp of LAN/WAN networking, switches, and firewalls
Experience supporting a mix of office and industrial or plant environments
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to OT or industrial network environments
Networking certification such as CCNA or equivalent
Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools
