Responsibilities:
Assist in provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Resource Manager, Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Storage.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (GHA) to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, security scanning, and deployment strategies into the software delivery lifecycle.
Support the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Apache Kafka clusters for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
Assist in managing Kafka topics, producers, consumers, and troubleshooting message delivery issues.
Work with both SQL (e. g., Azure SQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e. g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB) databases to support application deployments, schema migrations, and performance tuning.
Assist in writing and optimising queries and managing database configurations in cloud environments.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to streamline infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows.
Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Implement observability tools and practices using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of system reliability and performance.
Requirements:
0-2 years of experience in a DevOps/Cloud Engineer, (internships, academic projects, or certifications are acceptable).
GCP experience.
Foundational knowledge of:
GCP
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or general Kubernetes concepts.
GitHub Actions (GHA) or similar CI/CD tools.
SQL/ NoSQL databases (e. g., Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, MongoDB).
Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Version control systems like Git.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and secure software delivery pipelines.
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e. g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
Awareness of cloud networking and container security.
Apache Kafka or event-driven systems.
