Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Planning Engineer role based in Bhuj. The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation charts to support timely execution of infrastructure projects. The role includes coordinating with project, production, and site teams to monitor progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions for cost, time, and quality control. The Planning Engineer will prepare regular project reports, dashboards, and forecasts, ensuring accurate documentation and alignment with contractual milestones. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve supporting project control activities, analyzing data for decision-making, facilitating effective communication among stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement in planning and execution processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills for developing schedules, resource plans, and workflow optimization.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities for tracking progress, analyzing variances, and supporting corrective actions.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting reports to stakeholders.
Relevant experience in infrastructure or EPC projects (transmission, civil, railways, or related domains) is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools (such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar software) is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced, site-based project environments are desirable.
