Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Bhopal. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil engineering plans and drawings for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with cross-functional project teams, supporting planning and scheduling, preparing technical documentation, and participating in site inspections and quality checks. The role also involves analyzing stormwater management requirements, evaluating structural integrity and constructability, and providing engineering inputs for project cost estimates and proposals. The Civil Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement in design practices and support effective communication with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Civil engineering core skills: candidates should possess strong capabilities in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design.
Professional practice skills: candidates should be able to work effectively as Civil Engineers on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and collaborate with project teams.
Project and planning skills: candidates should possess skills in Planning, including scheduling, resource coordination, and project documentation.
Specialized technical skills: candidates should have knowledge of Stormwater Management and related hydrology and drainage design principles.
Education: bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Technical proficiency: familiarity with standard civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, or equivalent) and MS Office tools.
Regulatory and standards knowledge: understanding of relevant Indian and international building codes, infrastructure standards, and safety regulations.
Soft skills: strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment.
Experience: prior experience in infrastructure, railways
