Role Description The Manager SAP FICO role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves managing and optimizing SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and related integration points. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering business requirements, designing and configuring solutions, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with financial standards and internal controls. The Manager SAP FICO will collaborate with finance, controlling, and other functional teams, coordinate with IT and external partners, and lead or support implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects. The role also includes monitoring system performance, resolving incidents, preparing documentation, conducting user training, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong SAP FICO functional skills, including configuration and support of core modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
Candidates should possess skills in financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, and cost controlling, with a solid understanding of corporate finance and reporting processes.
Candidates should possess skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and process mapping to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in testing, documentation, and user training, including preparation of test cases, support guides, and training materials.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, and professional certifications (e.g., SAP FICO or equivalent) would be beneficial.
Experience in large-scale EPC, infrastructure, or manufacturing organizations, along with exposure to integration with other SAP modules (such as SD, MM, PS), would be an advantage.
