Role Description The Field Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi. This role is responsible for executing end-to-end hiring activities for frontline and field positions, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating selection processes in line with business requirements. The Field Recruiter will visit local markets, training centers, and partner agencies to build candidate pipelines, organize walk-in drives, and strengthen employer presence in the region. Daily activities include screening applications, maintaining recruitment trackers, coordinating with operations and HR teams, and ensuring timely onboarding and documentation compliance. The role also involves supporting workforce planning, tracking recruitment metrics, and continuously improving field recruitment strategies to meet staffing targets and service delivery needs.
Qualifications
Experience in field recruitment or mass hiring for logistics, retail, or similar industries, with the ability to manage end-to-end hiring processes.
Strong sourcing and networking capabilities, including building relationships with local institutes, agencies, and community networks.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse candidate profiles and internal stakeholders.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation, tracking, and reporting.
Comfort working on-site and traveling locally within Varanasi and nearby areas as required.
Basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for maintaining recruitment data and reports.
Knowledge of logistics or e-commerce operations is an advantage, along with familiarity with frontline workforce requirements.
Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree or equivalent; prior experience in HR or recruitment is preferred.
