Job Summary**
Responsible for assisting in the management of the SUIT (Supply Unit Integrated Team) operations for the Powders category, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety standards within HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED.
Job Responsibilities**
Support the SUIT Manager in overseeing daily production activities for powder products, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, cost, and safety, and identify areas for improvement.
Assist in managing the workforce, including training, performance evaluation, and adherence to company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain) to optimize processes and resolve operational issues.
Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements, including quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Prepare and present reports on production performance, budget adherence, and project status to senior management.
Support the implementation of new technologies and process improvements within the powders manufacturing unit.
Job Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related technical field.
2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the FMCG sector and specifically with powder processing.
Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
