Position Overview
As a Senior Software Developer at Purplle.com, you will be key in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions. You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers and collaborate on projects that leverage your expertise in Golang, Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka and Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Golang, Node.js
Create and optimise database schemas and queries using MySQL and MongoDB.
Implement caching solutions with Redis.
Integrate and work with event streaming platforms like Kafka.
Collaborate with team members to design and implement complex product solutions.
Take ownership of projects from inception to deployment.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy applications on GCP, AWS, and Kubernetes.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet project goals.
Solve complex technical challenges and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development practices.
Qualifications
4-6 years of software development experience, preferably in a product-based company.
Bachelor's degree in Computer/IT Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in either Golang or Node.js
Strong knowledge of MySQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, and data structures.
Experience with GCP, AWS, and Kubernetes is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
Ability to work on complex, end-to-end software projects.
A team player with the ability to also work independently
Proven ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality software.
Plus points if you have worked on product based company with the preferred domain of e-commerce
