Role Overview
As an Assistant Procurement Manager, you will support day-to-day buying - raising purchase orders, chasing suppliers, and keeping the procurement cycle moving cleanly. It is a strong launchpad for a career in sourcing and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Buying Support
Raise and track purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
Prepare RFQs, compare quotes, and support supplier selection
Maintain accurate purchase records, prices, and supplier data
Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams on requirements and timelines
Help resolve invoice, delivery, and quality queries with suppliers
Ideal Candidate Profile
0 to 2 years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related role
Strong attention to detail and an organised, follow-through habit
Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets; willingness to learn ERP tools
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
An internship or project exposure to procurement or operations
A degree in supply chain, engineering, commerce, or business
Interest in manufacturing or shared-services environments
