𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: L2 Production Support Engineer
𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 4–6 Years
We are looking for an experienced 𝗟𝟮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 to support mission-critical applications in the banking domain.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗫/𝗟𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘅, 𝗦𝗤𝗟, 𝗦𝗽𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗸, production troubleshooting, CI/CD, and incident management, with the ability to work across global support shifts.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
• Strong UNIX/Linux and SQL expertise
• Splunk for log monitoring and analytics
• Basic Core Java for application troubleshooting
• L2 application and production support
• GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Production monitoring using Grafana and AppDynamics
• Batch job troubleshooting and job scheduling
• Ansible Tower and operational automation
• MQ and mainframe job troubleshooting
• Shell, Python, or JavaScript scripting
• API workflow troubleshooting
• Kafka knowledge
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using UNIX/Linux, SQL, Splunk, Grafana, and AppDynamics
• Provide L2 support for application and database issues and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Automate operational activities using Ansible Tower and scheduling tools
• Apply ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management
• Support critical batch jobs and troubleshoot failures across mainframe and MQ environments
• Analyze support-ticket trends and drive operational improvements
• Identify opportunities for 𝗔𝗜-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and support automation agents
• Participate in global shift rotations and provide support during critical production activities
𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲
• Banking domain experience, particularly payments or transactions
• Ansible Tower and job-scheduling experience
• Mainframe and MQ support exposure
• Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting
• AI agents, ticket-trend analysis, and AI-driven operational tooling
• API troubleshooting experience
• Kafka
