Achieve maximum availability of HVAC system in a cost-effective manner complying with all safety, environmental and legal norms of Passenger Terminal Building, It includes coordinating with all stake holders external and internal. To impart duties in shifts (24x7) as required, to ensure uninterrupted operations in airport

Key Accountabilities
Operations and Maintenance of HVAC GMR Hyderabad International Airport
Supporting Mechanical team. of Passenger Terminal Building for HVAC System (High Side)
Leads efforts in developing performance metrics and KPI's to facilitate data driven decisions.
Executes the Airport Maintenance (Mechanical) 24x7 to ensure optimal customer service support is provided to all maintenance departments, airport divisions, airlines, concessionaires, and the traveling public.
Provides leadership and ensures airport compliance on testing and maintenance of Safety Systems
Providing Support to Head Mechanical for fiscal analysis and budget preparation/recommendations for Capital and Operations/Maintenance (O&M) budgets. Ensures efficient funds management by using fiscally sound practices. Research financial impacts and consequences of proposed recommendations and provides business-case justifications to other stakeholders.
Develops and incorporates innovations or changes to create cost savings.
Review and implement cost effective maintenance strategy
Supports in ensuring uptime of HVAC (Chillers, Pumps, AHU etc.)
Driving Energy and water conservation projects, coordinating with internal service providers and external stake holders.
Controlling expenses to meet the overall AOP
Percentage availability of systems, equipment etc.
Percentage savings on Expense – Budget vs. actual
Energy and water consumption – reduction in cost per passenger
New Special Projects / Initiative
Lead Business Excellence programs in the areas of cost reduction, process excellence, energy and water saving initiatives, different ISO standard certification, audit and implementation of audit points. Completion targets, Zero Audit noncompliance, Group review meetings, No of improvement in different sections
Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Regulatory Compliances
Drive the implementation and strict adherence to HSE and Quality standards, Internal and external Audit compliance.
Conformance of different standards set by different external regulatory bodies such as DGCA, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, and Indian electricity Rules, Legal metrology Act, National Building Code.
Conduct Site audits for Quality and safety at worksite
Champions programs for environmental stewardship, sustainability, and hazardous materials management.
Zero non-compliance, unsafe incidents

Total Internal Maintenance team employee size up to 9-11 numbers (Terminal wise).
Total External Maintenance team employee size up to 120-150 numbers (Terminal wise).
HVAC system having Chiller Machine, CHWP,CDWP,SCHWP,AHUs, PAHU, Fans, Split AC, Cooling tower etc.
Fire and PHE Pump House having Electrical driven heavy duty pumps, Diesel engine driven duty pumps, Jockey Pumps, Potable & Flush Water Pumps(Hydro-pneumatic System), Sump pumps, Detectors, FACPâs, Sprinklers, Hydrants, Deluge Valve Stations etc
Education Qualifications
BE/B.Tech. - Mechanical Engineering
Diploma.- Mechanical Engineering
Relevant Experience
Experience of at least 3 â 5 years for BE/B.Tech. with relevant experience in Mechanical Systems, specifically in HVAC High Side(Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, etc.) along with Fire Detection & Protection, PHE and HVAC low side.
Experience of at least 5 â 8 years for 3Yrs. Engg. Diploma. with relevant experience in Mechanical Systems, specifically in HVAC High Side(Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, etc.) along with Fire Detection & Protection, PHE and HVAC low side.
