Video Editing Intern - Reels & Social Content
We are looking for a video editing intern who enjoys Instagram Reels, creator content, fast-paced edits, and making videos more fun to watch.
You do need a good eye, curiosity, basic editing skills, and an interest in understanding what makes social content work.
A large part of the role will be around Reels, UGC creators, and short-form social content.
What you will work on
Instagram Reels
UGC and creator-led videos
Talking-head videos
Trend and reference-led edits
Quick interviews and reactions
Occasional landscape videos
You will get references, ideas, context, and feedback from the team.
Over time, we would love for you to become comfortable taking more ownership of the edits yourself.
What we are looking for
Someone who:
Knows the basics of video editing
Enjoys watching and creating Reels
Has a good sense of pacing, music, captions, and cuts
Is willing to experiment with different editing styles
Can understand a reference and recreate the feel of it
Is open to feedback and learns quickly
Can work reasonably fast when required
Is curious about creators, social media, and internet content
Ability to utilize AI for faster turnaround
A portfolio, Instagram page, college work, freelance projects, or even personal edits are all fine.
We care more about your sense of content than a fancy resume.
You will work with
A social media manager, content writer, digital marketer, creators, and a wider marketing team.
You will get to see how an idea goes from:
Reference → Creator → Shoot → Edit → Reel → Performance.
So even though your core role is video editing, you will get exposure to content, social media, creators, marketing, and campaigns.
You will learn a lot. You will not be expected to figure everything out alone from Day 1. But if you show good judgment and initiative, you will get more freedom and ownership very quickly.
The niche
MBBS Students. Really small market.
The doctor's world is getting a creative rework, and you will be at the front of it.
There is a lot of room to make this category more fun, relatable, current, and social-first.
Bonus if
You have edited Reels before
You have worked with creators or college influencers
You know Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools
You understand meme formats and internet trends
You regularly save Reels because you liked the edit
What matters most
Good taste. Willingness to learn. Speed. Curiosity.
This is an internship, but if the work is strong and the fit is right, it can turn into a long-term opportunity.
