Role Overview
As an IT Security Analyst, you will monitor, investigate, and respond to security events across banking systems, while helping the centre build out a mature security-operations function.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Incident Response
Monitor SIEM alerts, logs, and network traffic for suspicious activity
Triage, investigate, and respond to security incidents within defined SLAs
Coordinate containment, remediation, and post-incident reviews
Risk & Compliance
Support vulnerability assessments, patch tracking, and remediation follow-up
Maintain evidence and documentation for regulatory and internal audits
Contribute to security policies, standards, and control frameworks
Ideal Candidate Profile
2 to 6 years in IT security, SOC analysis, or information-security operations
Working knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint-security platforms
Understanding of common attack patterns, threat intelligence, and incident-response practice
Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to banking, financial services, or other regulated environments
Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or working toward CISSP
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like PCI-DSS, RBI guidelines, or ISO 27001
