Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer based in Basti. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee daily construction activities, ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications, and coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and labor teams. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, inspecting quality of materials and workmanship, supporting planning and scheduling of site tasks, and implementing safety and environmental standards. The role also involves assisting in stormwater and sewerage system layout, maintaining site documentation, preparing basic reports, and communicating project status to the project manager or senior engineers.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
Experience working with Civil Engineers and project teams, supporting coordination across site and office functions.
Planning skills for organizing site activities, resources, and timelines to meet project milestones.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and sewerage infrastructure, including basic hydraulic principles and local regulations.
Bachelor’s diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Familiarity with construction codes, safety practices, and quality control procedures.
Ability to work on-site in Basti, manage field challenges, and maintain clear, professional communication.
Basic proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) and willingness to learn project-specific tools.
