About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Flutter Mobile App Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Flutter, Dart, mobile application architecture, REST APIs, state management, local storage, security, testing, and application deployment. The candidate will take ownership of mobile features from development through production release and support.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Build scalable, reusable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile application architecture.
• Convert UI/UX designs and business requirements into responsive mobile interfaces.
• Develop reusable Flutter widgets and components.
• Implement application state management using BLoC/Cubit, Riverpod, Provider, or similar frameworks.
• Integrate REST APIs, handle JSON parsing, authentication, error handling, retries, and network failures.
• Integrate third-party SDKs and services as required.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, token management, and session handling.
• Work with local databases/storage such as SQLite, Hive, SharedPreferences, or equivalent.
• Implement push notifications and Firebase services such as FCM, Crashlytics, and Analytics.
• Optimise application performance, memory usage, startup time, API calls, and UI rendering.
• Debug and resolve complex issues across development, QA, and production environments.
• Write and maintain unit, widget, and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding and architectural standards.
• Manage application versioning and release processes for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated mobile application builds and deployments.
• Collaborate with Backend, QA, UI/UX, Product, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Flutter developers.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and deliver features independently.
Required Technical Skills (Flutter & Dart)
• Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Excellent understanding of Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation, lifecycle, async programming, and animations.
• Strong understanding of Dart OOP, Futures, Streams, isolates, async/await, and error handling.
• Experience building production-grade Android and iOS applications.
Architecture & State Management
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
• Experience with BLoC/Cubit, Riverpod, Provider, or equivalent state-management frameworks.
• Understanding of dependency injection, repository patterns, service layers, and reusable components.
API & Backend Integration
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with Dio/HTTP or similar networking libraries.
• JWT/token-based authentication
• OAuth/SSO concepts
• API error handling
• Pagination
• File upload/download
• Multipart APIs
• Offline/poor-network handling
Database & Storage
• Experience with local storage/database solutions such as:
