Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Lead daily laundry operations
Manage all aspects of the laundry department to ensure efficient processing of hotel linens, uniforms, guest laundry, and other textile items while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Ensure quality and cleanliness standards
Monitor washing, drying, pressing, and finishing processes to ensure all items meet Hilton standards and guest expectations.
Manage inventory and linen control
Oversee linen distribution, stock levels, and replacement programs to minimize loss, optimize usage, and maintain adequate inventory levels.
Drive operational efficiency
Control departmental expenses, monitor productivity, manage schedules, and ensure effective utilization of equipment, supplies, and labor resources.
Maintain equipment and safety standards
Coordinate with Engineering and external vendors to ensure laundry equipment is properly maintained and operating efficiently while promoting a safe working environment.
Deliver exceptional guest service
Ensure guest laundry requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and within established service timelines to enhance the overall guest experience.
Inspire and develop the team
Lead, coach, and motivate team members by providing training, performance feedback, and development opportunities while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Work arrangement
No
