Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Kanpur. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects linked to resource generation, donor-funded initiatives, and partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project scope and timelines, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality and compliance standards. The role also involves preparing project documentation and reports, facilitating inspections and reviews, and resolving logistical and operational issues. The Project Manager will support decision-making by providing regular status updates and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management and Expediting, with experience in planning, scheduling, and tracking project deliverables.
Candidates should possess expediting and expeditor-related skills to follow up on pending tasks, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of project activities.
Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including Logistics Management and related coordination capabilities, to handle movement of materials, information, and documentation across teams.
Candidates should possess inspection-related skills, including Inspection and quality verification, to ensure that project outputs conform to agreed standards and requirements.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field; professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a structured environment, manage multiple priorities, and use digital tools for project tracking and documentation.
