Role Description The Herbs and Spices Export Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Bhavnagar, with some flexibility for remote work from home. This role involves managing export orders, coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners, and ensuring compliance with export documentation and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include handling inquiries from international buyers, preparing quotations, monitoring shipments, and maintaining accurate records of contracts and deliveries. The Export Manager will also support market research for new regions, track pricing and demand trends, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain product quality and packaging standards. This position requires regular communication with stakeholders and proactive problem-solving to ensure smooth and timely export operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of export processes, documentation, and compliance, especially for agricultural products such as herbs and spices.
Experience in international trade, sales coordination, or supply chain management, preferably in food, agriculture, or FMCG sectors.
Ability to communicate effectively with international clients and partners, with good written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage.
Proficiency in using office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email, online collaboration platforms) and basic data reporting.
Understanding of quality standards, packaging requirements, and regulatory norms for exporting food-grade products.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines in a part-time schedule.
Comfort working in a hybrid arrangement, including on-site visits in Bhavnagar to coordinate with local suppliers and inspect products.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
