Role Description The Furniture Manufacturing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for overseeing end-to-end furniture production operations. This role includes planning and scheduling production activities, coordinating with design, procurement, and workshop teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification. The manager will monitor quality standards, implement process improvements, and maintain efficient workflows across manufacturing lines. Day-to-day tasks involve supervising shop-floor staff, tracking production metrics, resolving operational issues, and supporting continuous enhancement of craftsmanship and safety practices. The role also requires close collaboration with project management and client service teams to align manufacturing output with project requirements and brand standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to coordinate schedules, resources, and delivery timelines.
Experience in Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management to oversee daily factory activities and optimize processes.
Proficiency in Quality Control to maintain product standards, conduct inspections, and drive corrective actions.
Relevant experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or related industries, with familiarity in bespoke or high-end projects.
Ability to lead and mentor production teams, with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfort with using production tracking tools, basic ERP or manufacturing software, and data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in workshop and factory environments.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
