Application Engineer

Company Description VIKAS INDUSTRIAL SUPPLIERS PVT LTD. is an industrial supply company headquartered in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
Role Description The Application Engineer will work full time on-site in Nagpur, providing technical support and application guidance for industrial products and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, configuring and demonstrating solutions, and assisting with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. The role involves collaborating with sales and engineering teams to prepare technical proposals, documentation, and product specifications.
The Application Engineer will perform testing and validation of applications, support after-sales service, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The position requires regular interaction with customers at their facilities and within the company’s premises.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, customer interaction, and issue resolution.
Candidates should possess Software Development and Testing skills relevant to configuring, validating, and optimizing industrial or engineering applications.
Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system requirements.
Candidates should possess effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and customers.
Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field) is preferred.
Experience in industrial products, automation, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations as needed, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
