Role Description The Medical Recorder Analyst is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and maintaining patient medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. This full-time, on-site role in the Pune Division involves verifying medical terminology, updating electronic and paper records, and resolving discrepancies in documentation. The role includes collaborating with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to collect missing information, standardize record formats, and support clinical decision-making. The Medical Recorder Analyst also responds to record-related inquiries, supports audits, and helps improve documentation workflows. Attention to detail, confidentiality, and effective communication are essential in daily tasks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to review, validate, and interpret medical records and related data.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of medical terminology and a foundational understanding of medicine to accurately interpret clinical documentation.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and convey information clearly and respectfully.

Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Health Information Management, Medical Records, Nursing, or a related healthcare field are beneficial.
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, data entry, and basic computer applications is preferred.
Knowledge of privacy regulations, documentation standards, and best practices for handling confidential medical information is advantageous.
Ability to work accurately under time constraints, maintain organized records, and adapt to evolving healthcare documentation requirements is beneficial.
