About the Role
We are looking for a C++ Game Developer to join our team and work on Minecraft-related projects, gameplay features, and systems.
We are open to candidates from different backgrounds. You may be:
A Minecraft developer with strong C++ knowledge
A C++ game developer with some knowledge of Minecraft
A game developer with experience in similar sandbox or game development environments
Minecraft development experience is preferred but not mandatory. If you have strong C++ and game programming fundamentals, we can provide training and guidance to help you learn the required Minecraft development workflow.
This role is available as remote or on-site in Hyderabad, depending on the candidate and project requirements.
The initial engagement will be on a commission basis. Candidates who successfully transition into the regular role will be offered compensation in the ₹25,000–₹30,000 range based on experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement gameplay features and systems using C++
Work on Minecraft-related features, mods, and gameplay systems
Translate game design concepts into functional gameplay
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Debug and resolve technical and performance issues
Test and optimize game systems
Collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members
Participate in code reviews and iterative development
Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and stability
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of C++
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Understanding of fundamental game programming concepts
Knowledge of gameplay systems such as game loops, input systems, physics, or scripting
Some knowledge or experience with Minecraft development/modding is preferred but not mandatory
Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
Ability to debug and optimize real-time applications
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Familiarity with Git/version control is a plus
A degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered
