Role Description The Junior Associate will support senior team members in delivering legal services to business clients across multiple practice areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing legal documents and opinions, conducting legal research, and helping with compliance and corporate advisory matters. The role also involves supporting transaction execution, maintaining well-organized case files, coordinating with clients and external stakeholders, and contributing to internal knowledge management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring close collaboration with colleagues and proactive engagement in client work.
Qualifications
Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, corporate documents, and legal correspondence.
Knowledge of corporate law, compliance frameworks, and basic transaction structures relevant to business clients.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear, concise legal writing and client-facing communication.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
Professional integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with senior lawyers and team members.
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from an accredited institution; prior internships or experience in corporate or commercial law is an advantage.
Comfort with legal research tools and productivity software (e.g., online legal databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and document management systems).
