Role Description The Region Product Head is a full-time on-site role based in Goalpara, responsible for driving product performance and growth within the assigned region. The role involves defining and executing regional product strategies, monitoring portfolio health, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing regional market trends, identifying customer needs, and collaborating with sales, operations, risk, and marketing teams to design and refine product offerings. The Region Product Head will track key performance indicators, optimize pricing and features, support branch teams with product training, and lead initiatives to enhance customer experience and product profitability. The role also includes regular reporting to senior leadership, participation in strategic reviews, and active coordination with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective product implementation in the region.
Qualifications
Strong product strategy and product management skills, with experience in driving regional product portfolios.
Excellent analytical skills and market research capabilities to interpret data, assess performance, and identify growth opportunities.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present insights, and influence stakeholders.
Experience in financial services or NBFCs, especially in retail lending products such as commercial vehicle, two-wheeler, car, gold, or small business loans.
Proven ability to lead regional initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and work within structured performance and compliance frameworks.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or MBA is an advantage.
Comfort with data tools and reporting systems, along with working knowledge of regulatory norms relevant to retail lending.
Ability to work on-site in Goalpara and travel within the region as required for branch visits and market assessment.
