Unibotix is a robotics, AI, and IoT education company working with schools (CBSE, International, Montessori) and individual learners aged 4–25, through both institutional programs and direct-to-consumer classes and robotics kits.
Role Overview
We're hiring a Robotics Trainer to deliver hands-on robotics, AI, and IoT training to students, both in physical classrooms/schools and via live online sessions. You'll be responsible for making complex concepts simple, engaging, and age-appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct offline robotics classes at partner schools and Unibotix centers in Trivandrum
Deliver live online robotics/coding sessions to D2C students
Teach using Arduino, sensors, IoT kits, and block-based/text-based coding (Scratch, Arduino IDE, Python as applicable)
Adapt teaching style and curriculum pacing across age groups (4–25 years)
Assist in curriculum development and improvement of existing modules
Manage classroom/lab logistics, kit inventory, and session materials
Evaluate student progress and share feedback with parents/schools
Support robotics camps, workshops, and demo sessions
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues during live sessions
Requirements
Diploma/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field
Hands-on experience with Arduino, basic electronics, and sensor interfacing
Prior teaching/training experience preferred (school, coaching center, or ed-tech)
Comfortable conducting both in-person and online classes
Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to children and teenagers
Own two-wheeler/vehicle for commuting to partner schools in and around Trivandrum
Basic proficiency in coding (Scratch, Python, or C/C++) is a plus
Preferred
Experience with 3D printing, IoT platforms, or AI basics
Prior experience working with school partnerships or ed-tech companies
