Head of Technology (STB Router, Firewalls)

A leading US-based deep technology company is looking for an accomplished VP/Head of Technology to lead engineering, product innovation, and technology strategy for next-generation STBs, routers, firewalls, smart devices, and IoT platforms.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute a technology strategy aligned with business goals.
Lead end-to-end product development from architecture to commercial launch.
Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams.
Drive innovation, product quality, scalability, and timely delivery.
Collaborate with global product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Manage technology roadmaps, engineering excellence, and customer success.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Technical Expertise:
Embedded Linux, Android AOSP, RDK.
C/C++, Linux Kernel, Device Drivers, Yocto.
TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN, Routing, and Switching.
Cloud Integration, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices.
Secure Boot, OTA, Cybersecurity.
ARM, Qualcomm, Broadcom, MediaTek, BSP, and Hardware Integration.
IoT, Smart Home, Connected Devices, AI-Enabled Edge Platforms.
Leadership Profile:
18+ years of experience in embedded product engineering.
Proven leadership of large engineering teams delivering global products.
Deep expertise in STB, broadband, networking, firewalls, or smart device development.
Experience working with US/global product organizations.
Strong strategic vision with hands-on technical leadership and stakeholder management.
