Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:
Own and drive backend development using Python and Django.
Build and scale APIs that power our platform and new product modules.
Ensure quality through unit testing, clean code practices, and strong design principles.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and improve automation across the dev lifecycle.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
Participate in architectural discussions, influencing design choices for scalability and performance.
Asynchronous processing and queues.
Handling high-throughput, low-latency systems.
Setting up metrics, monitors for production-grade applications.
Requirements:
4-7 years of backend engineering experience, with strong skills in Python and Django.
Deep knowledge of API design and integration.
Hands-on experience with end-to-end product cycles in core product environments (not just services).
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, unit testing frameworks, and deployment best practices.
A self-starter mindset able to take initiative and drive projects independently.
Experience mentoring engineers and leading small teams or projects.
Bonus: exposure to SaaS, fintech, or data-heavy platforms.
Experience developing workflow-based systems.
Experience with AWS infrastructure.
