Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
Work with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC, formerly Demandware) in conjunction with the internal UA teams and development partners to develop and implement new features.
Directly impact the user experience by developing new features using best practices in Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform development.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver rich and sustainable experiences for Under Armour's consumers.
Translate business/technical requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
Research platform capabilities and identify opportunities as it relates to the eCommerce roadmap.
Provide input to technical architecture and design for features implemented on the Commerce Platform, including performing code reviews and technical design reviews.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience or master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience or 9 years of relevant work experience without a degree.
2+ years of professional experience with Node.js .
2+ years of e-commerce experience, including experience with some of the following systems: Content Management System, Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management, Payment, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Order Management System, and Fraud Management.
Proven experience in multiple web technologies, including JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and SQL (TypeScript will be an added advantage).
Proficiency with SFCC/Demandware.
Proven experience in working with and integrating with APIs and 3rd party system integrations (SOAP/REST).
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (Git strategies, unit tests, build processes, etc. ).
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle for platform development, testing principles, project methodologies, and practices.
Experience with Agile development methodology is a must.
Ability to deliver on customer-facing features using a combination of modern server-side technologies, including Node.js .
Able to work independently as part of a globally distributed team, proactively requesting assistance, advice, and input from colleagues and customers both internal and external as needed.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills; able to understand and balance perspectives and find common ground between parties across divides.
Adaptable and change-resilient, working well in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment, accepting new ideas and initiatives, and making positive use of opportunities presented.
