As a Product/Business Analyst, you will be a key partner to our product and business teams, using data to solve problems, uncover insights, and drive better decisions. You will work across product, growth, marketing, operations, and finance, taking ownership of analytics projects end-to-end, from understanding the problem and analyzing data to identifying opportunities and recommending actions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data but also wants to understand the why behind the numbers and the business impact of their analysis.
Responsibilities:
Analyze product and business performance across funnels, conversion, retention, engagement, and key business metrics.
Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and actionable insights.
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Growth teams to support decision-making.
Use SQL and Excel/Google Sheets to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting frameworks.
Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities and proactively surface insights.
Analyze user behavior, cohorts, feature adoption, and product performance.
Support A/B tests and experiments and measure the impact of product and business initiatives.
Own analytics projects end-to-end from defining the problem and analyzing data to presenting recommendations.
Communicate complex analysis in a simple, clear, and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Help teams develop a strong culture of data-driven and self-service decision-making.
Requirements:
1-5 years of experience in product analytics, business analytics, data analytics, strategy analytics, or a similar role.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
Good understanding of product and business metrics, funnels, cohorts, conversion, engagement, and retention.
Experience with dashboarding/BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio.
Exposure to product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, CleverTap, or Branch is a plus.
Understanding of experimentation / A/B testing and basic statistics.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and take ownership of analytical problems.
A strong so what? mindset and ability to turn data into meaningful business or product decisions.
Basic Python is a plus.
