Responsibilities:
Build, customise, and maintain Shopify storefronts, themes and features.
Develop responsive and high-quality user experiences using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
Customise Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript and Shopify APIs.
Integrate Shopify with internal systems, third-party applications, payment solutions and other APIs.
Build reusable UI components and improve the overall frontend architecture.
Optimise storefronts for performance, scalability, SEO and mobile responsiveness.
Translate Figma/design requirements into pixel-perfect, production-ready interfaces.
Troubleshoot frontend, Shopify and integration-related issues.
Work closely with Product, Design, Growth and Engineering teams to ship customer-facing experiences.
Monitor and improve conversion, checkout and overall commerce experience.
Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in frontend/e-commerce development, with strong hands-on experience in Shopify.
Strong experience with Shopify development, Liquid and Shopify APIs.
Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design and UI development.
Experience converting designs from Figma to production-ready interfaces.
Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
Strong understanding of frontend performance and web optimisation.
Experience working on consumer-facing/B2C products or e-commerce platforms is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently own features end-to-end.
Good to have:
Experience with Shopify Plus.
Experience with Shopify app development.
Experience with Hydrogen / headless Shopify.
Knowledge of web analytics, SEO and conversion optimisation.
Experience working with high-traffic consumer websites.
