Engineering Manager - Threat Intel

Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of frontend and backend engineers.
Oversee the full development cycle of scalable and high-performance applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to define
technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
Drive continuous improvements in team processes, development methodologies, and engineering culture.
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining technical excellence.
Drive sound architectural decisions, system design, and code reviews.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent within the team.
Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with AWN's Information Security policies, standards, processes
and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of AWN business information.
Must pass a criminal background check and an employment verification as a condition of employment.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As a Threat Intel Manager, you would oversee and guide all development activities within the team.
This individual is a senior manager of the R& D Threat Intel Team. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
10-15 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Experience with modern software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
Experience driving high-level quality excellence at all levels.
Management-level familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, including data storage and retrieval, serverless computing, optimization, and associated costs.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in performance optimization and security best practices.
Experience managing vulnerabilities across a diverse set of dependencies.
Prior experience in security products.
