Head of Infosec

Requirements:
6-10 years in cyber and information security, with at least 5 years as a head of information security at an early-stage digital business, ideally B2B or B2C commerce, fintech, or SaaS.
Demonstrated experience building or significantly scaling a security function's end-to-end strategy, team, tools, controls, and culture, not just operating a mature one.
Strong working knowledge of the DPDP Act 2023 DPDP Rules 2025 CERT-In directions, and ISO 27001 with a clear point of view on AI security for production systems.
Track record of leading at least one major security incident or audit through to closure, including communicating with regulators and customers.
Excellent executive communication: able to translate technical risk into plain business language for the CTO, CEO, board, and customers.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; master's or MBA preferred.
Good to have: CISSP or CISM certification, hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems in production, and experience operating within a large Indian conglomerate.
