Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems for fintech applications.
Build, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and real-time services supporting trading and data analytics platforms.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store, query, and manage high-frequency trading and transactional data efficiently.
Implement solutions for performance optimization, security, and scalability in data-intensive environments.
Develop and integrate real-time data pipelines using WebSockets, message queues, or event-driven architectures.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and designers to deliver reliable and scalable backend services.
Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot backend applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred; good to have).
Follow best coding practices, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery processes.
Requirements:
1-3 years of hands-on experience in backend or server-side development.
Strong backend development skills in Node.js or Java.
Experience designing and working with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and backend services.
Solid understanding of database design and hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with real-time data processing, caching, and high-traffic system design is a plus.
Exposure to AWS services (EC2 S3 Lambda, etc. ) is a bonus.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Interest in fintech or trading platforms is a strong plus.
