Backend Lead

The Backend Engineer will focus on designing, developing, and implementing backend solutions for Clinvvo's innovative health-tech platform. Responsibilities include creating scalable software, ensuring product performance and security, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and solving complex technical problems to enhance the experience for healthcare providers and patients.
Responsibilities:
Lead the in-house development and maintenance of mobile/web applications and backend.
Analyzing (sometimes loose) requirements from stakeholders and transforming them into robust clean code.
Communicate and coordinate with partners to drive development of the product in line with the agreed roadmap and timeline.
Continuously improve our systems architecture for best efficiency.
Be economically aware and manage resources with respect.
Requirements:
3+ years of backend software development experience, with at least one full-cycle implementation of a production-grade system supporting mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Strong experience designing and building backend services using Python (FastAPI) and Node.js .
Hands-on experience with AWS (e. g., EC2 S3 RDS, Lambda, IAM) and PostgreSQL.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing, and backend architecture for scalable systems.
Working knowledge of React / React Native / Angular to effectively collaborate with frontend and mobile teams.
Experience building and integrating GenAI / AI-powered backend services (e. g., model inference APIs, data pipelines, prompt-driven services).
Demonstrated expertise across multiple programming languages and frameworks, with strong backend design principles.
Proven ability to analyze, optimize, and maintain system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational health.
Experience with health tech or regulated domains (e. g., healthcare, fintech) is a strong plus.
3+ years of work experience with Node.js .
3+ years of work experience with Python (Programming Language).
