Senior Data Analyst

This candidate will be part of a high-performing, fast-paced team that ensures the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for data validation, testing automation, and optimising AWS-based data processes to support analytics, reporting, and customer insights.
The Data Testing and AWS Specialist is responsible for implementing robust data quality frameworks and monitoring cloud-based data processes that will help maintain the integrity of our data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in data validation, expertise in AWS-based data infrastructure, and a deep understanding of data governance best practices. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that accurate, well-structured data is available for decision-making, supporting business intelligence and customer engagement analysis.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test cases for data validation and quality assurance.
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies and anomalies.
Implement automated data testing frameworks to streamline validation processes.
Maintain documentation of test cases, testing frameworks and data validation processes.
Collaborate with IT, Product and Analytics teams to align data quality initiatives.
Develop, monitor and maintain data processes in AWS environments.
Assist in automating data workflows and troubleshooting cloud-based data issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics.
4-7 years Expert in SQL and strong experience in Python.
Hands-on experience with AWS Services (S3 Glue, Lambda, Redshift, etc. )
Familiarity with data testing tools and automation frameworks.
High attention to detail, solution-oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
