Senior Functional and Test Analyst

We are looking for a visionary Senior Functional and Test Analyst to join our Hyderabad hub. This is a unique hybrid role for a professional who is passionate about both deep functional analysis and rigorous quality assurance. You will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of our clearing and risk systems by championing the use of Artificial Intelligence to redefine our processes. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentoring colleagues and leading key functional streams. Responsibilities:
Lead project discussions, apply critical thinking to review and refine business requirements and functional specifications.
Champion innovative thinking towards writing specifications; be prepared to occasionally write specification documents that are clear and forward-thinking.
Define and own the test strategy, test plan, and scope for major initiatives, including hands-on business acceptance testing (BAT).
Pioneer and implement AI-driven approaches for test case generation, data creation, and requirements analysis.
Navigate and bring structure to complex problems, demonstrating a strong ability to work with unknowns.
Act as a functional lead to support the team lead; mentor and upskill team members on the clearing and risk domain.
Periodically report on functional and testing progress, providing insightful statistics and analysis to stakeholders.
Requirements:
You have completed a university degree in Finance, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant work experience.
You have 8+ years of professional experience, combining deep requirement engineering experience with various test methodologies and agile software development.
You have good financial capital markets know-how, with specific and relevant work experience in derivatives clearing, risk management, or post-trade services.
You have proven experience with using AI to solve business problems.
Experience with data processing and analytics tools like Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (e. g., GCP, Azure) is highly desirable.
A hands-on mentality, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, intercultural environment are essential to your profile.
Proven ability to lead functional topics and mentor colleagues.
Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
