Director Technical Program Management

We are seeking an experienced Director - Technical Program Management (AI / GenAI Platforms) to lead large-scale AI transformation programmes and drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise AI / GenAI initiatives.
This role requires a strong blend of technical programme management, enterprise execution, AI platform understanding, stakeholder leadership, and cross-functional coordination to drive next-generation AI systems powered by LLMs, agentic AI, automation workflows, and enterprise-scale intelligent platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programmes; collaborating closely with engineering, AI/ML, architecture, data science, and product teams; and driving AI programmes from strategy to enterprise-scale execution.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
AI Program Strategy and Execution:
Lead enterprise-scale AI / GenAI technical programmes from planning to execution and production rollout.
Drive execution of large AI initiatives focused on generative AI platforms, agentic AI systems, and intelligent automation programs.
Enterprise AI copilots and workflows:
Define program execution strategies, milestones, dependencies, delivery frameworks, and risk mitigation plans.
Translate business priorities into scalable technical programme roadmaps.
Technical Program Management:
Partner closely with engineering, AI/ML, architecture, product, and data science teams to drive the successful execution of AI programmes.
Drive end-to-end program delivery, including planning, execution, prioritisation, stakeholder communication, and governance.
Coordinate multiple engineering squads and technical workstreams across AI platforms and enterprise systems.
Manage technical dependencies, delivery timelines, escalation management, and release readiness.
AI / GenAI Platform Understanding:
Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs), RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration, agentic AI and multi-agent systems, AI orchestration frameworks, and vector databases.
Enterprise AI workflows and automation platforms.
Collaborate with technical teams on APIs, integrations, architecture discussions, scalability, and platform readiness.
Partner on AI governance, observability, reliability, compliance, and security initiatives.
Stakeholder and Executive Leadership:
Work closely with executive leadership, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and business stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business goals.
Drive programme governance, delivery reporting, KPIs, executive dashboards, and adoption tracking.
Lead programme prioritisation, cross-functional alignment, and enterprise change management.
Influence senior stakeholders and drive execution across distributed teams.
Team Leadership:
Lead large cross-functional programme teams and enterprise AI delivery programmes.
Mentor technical program managers and build strong TPM practices across the organisation.
Drive operational excellence, agile execution, and programme maturity frameworks.
Requirements:
15-20 years of experience in technical program management/engineering program management/enterprise technology delivery.
Strong experience managing large-scale enterprise technology programmes.
Proven experience working with AI/ML or generative AI initiatives.
Strong experience driving complex technical programmes involving engineering, product, architecture, and data teams.
Excellent programme execution, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
Experience managing multi-team dependencies, risks, escalations, and delivery governance.
Strong analytical thinking, prioritisation, and execution mindset.
