Lead iOS Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead iOS Developer with 9+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance iOS applications. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Swift, MVVM/MVP/VIPER architecture patterns, and modern iOS development practices. As a Lead iOS Developer, you will be responsible for leading mobile initiatives, mentoring developers, architecting robust applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving technical excellence across projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex iOS applications.
Architect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions using MVVM, MVP, and VIPER patterns.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend teams, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products.
Drive technical decisions, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
Optimise applications for maximum performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud-based services.
Ensure application quality through unit testing, UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Stay updated with the latest iOS trends, frameworks, and Apple guidelines.
Requirements:
9+ years of professional experience in iOS application development.
Strong expertise in Swift and iOS SDK.
Solid experience with: MVVM Architecture, MVP Architecture, VIPER Architecture
Deep understanding of UIKit and SwiftUI.
Experience with dependency injection and modular architecture.
Strong knowledge of: Auto Layout, Multithreading, Memory Management, Networking, and Data Persistence.
Hands-on experience with: REST APIs, JSON parsing, Push Notifications, Background Tasks, App Store deployment.
Experience with Combine, GCD, and async/await.
Familiarity with Core Data, Realm, or SQLite.
Experience integrating Firebase or analytics frameworks.
Strong understanding of Git and branching strategies.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading teams of iOS developers.
Exposure to Clean Architecture and modular app development.
Experience in performance optimisation and app security.
Familiarity with Fastlane and automated release pipelines.
Knowledge of accessibility and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
Experience working on enterprise-scale or consumer-facing applications.
