About the role

We are looking for an experienced SDET Engineer with expertise in both API and UI Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Rest Assured, and Playwright to build robust automation frameworks and ensure the quality of web applications and backend services.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for API and UI testing.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Rest Assured and Playwright.
Perform API validation, functional testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing.
Automate web application testing and backend service validation.
Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
Improve test coverage and optimise automation processes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality engineering best practices.
Requirements:
3.8 to 6 years of experience in Automation Testing.
Strong hands-on experience with Java.
Expertise in API Automation using Rest Assured.
Experience in UI/Web Automation using Playwright.
Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Understanding of CI/CD and Agile methodologies is a plus.
Mandatory Skills: Java, Rest Assured, Playwright, API Automation Testing, UI Automation Testing, Automation Framework Development.
