We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager - Mobile to lead and scale high-performing engineering teams across iOS, Android, and Backend developmentThe ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven people leadership, driving the delivery of scalable mobile products while fostering engineering excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple engineering teams across iOS, Android, and Backend development.
Drive the architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance mobile applications and services.
Partner with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to define engineering strategy, roadmaps, and execution plans.
Ensure engineering best practices, code quality, performance, security, and reliability across all platforms.
Mentor Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Senior Engineers, enabling their growth and career progression.
Build and nurture a strong engineering culture focused on collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Oversee resource planning, hiring, performance management, and team development.
Drive technical decision-making, system design reviews, and architecture discussions.
Ensure timely delivery of complex product initiatives in an Agile environment.
Requirements:
12-15 years of software engineering experience, including significant experience in engineering leadership roles.
Strong technical background in iOS, Android, and Backend development.
Proven experience managing and scaling large engineering teams.
Deep understanding of mobile architecture, system design, APIs, cloud-based applications, and distributed systems.
Experience delivering complex consumer or enterprise products at scale.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and engineering best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in product-based organizations.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
Strong focus on engineering excellence, operational efficiency, and product quality.
